The trial of neo-Nazi party Golden Dawn has been postponed once again, for Friday, 3rd of June, in order to provided necessary time for the newly-appointed defense attorneys to prepare.

New attorneys were appointed to a number of defendants in the critical trial due to the ongoing lawyer strike over the pension reforms. The new lawyers initially requested two months to prepare for the trial, but their call was rejected.

Court president Maria Lepenioti sparked controversy when she accused the Ministry of Justice of failing to expedite procedures and for not transferring the trial to a more suitable court house, in spite of repeated calls.

Magda Fyssa, mother of murdered rapper and antifascist activist Pavlos Fyssas, also expressed he frustrations at the constant delays in the trial.
