Giorgos Roupakias, the Golden Dawn member who confessed to murdering Pavlos Fyssas, has been released from remand after 30 months, while the trial of the neo-Nazi party has stalled.

The decision to release Roupakias has caused much stress to the mother of his victim, Magda Fyssa, as the rest of his “accomplices” on trial have already released, since their 18-month remand period has also lapsed.

In an interview of Mega Channel, Mrs. Fyssa commented that “they killed us, but every day they dig the knife even deeper” arguing that the neo-Nazi party is purposely stalling the trial in order to ridicule the process.

We see that monster that has shown no remorse for what he has done, to enter [the courthouse] and stand proud, while most of the defendants do not even show up in court, while their lawyers are provocative” she added.
