An English tourist has been arrested over his involvement in a bar fight in Laganas, Zakynthos about two weeks ago, which ended in tragedy.
About to police reports the tourist got in a fight with a 32-year-old local resident, who was later hospitalized with serious head injuries. The 32-year-old man however passed away on Easter Monday, after two weeks in intensive care.
The English tourist was initially charged with causing grievous bodily harm and set free. However after the death of the 32-year-old man, he was arrested as the charge was changed to manslaughter.
