Students across Greece will sit for the second nationwide exam, with those in the Humanities orientation group being tested in Ancient Greek, while those in the Science Studies and Economics and Computer Studies group being tested in Math.
The exams kicked off on Monday with Modern Greek, except students in vocational schools who took the exam on Tuesday. The exams will conclude Wednesday 1st of June, with a test in Biology.
The country’s 103,366 students will compete for the 69,985 spots in Greek universities in this year’s exams. In total there are 2,000 additional positions in the Technological Educational Institutes and 345 fewer positions in Higher Educational Institutes.
