The next scheduled televised debate on Monday will be between the main electoral contenders – Alexis Tsipras and Evangelos Meimarakis – with both parties aiming to provide a more lively discussion. According to the Ethnos newspaper, SYRIZA and New Democracy agreed to have questions posed by six journalists and two breaks during the debate.
The provisional ND president is expected to insist on his intention to form a coalition government with SYRIZA, while underlining the negative aspects of the SYRIZA/Independent Greeks coalition, while the SYRIZA leader will focus on the positive elements on his seven months in power.
