The Panhellenic exam period for first-year high school students begins today, a day after third-year students sat for their exams, with their results counting towards their entry grade for tertiary education for the first time.

The subject of today’s exam in Modern Greek, which is on school bullying, is available here.

This year, half of the exam subjects that the 80.000 first-year high school students will sit for will be drawn from an online exam subject bank, which the Ministry of Education recently launched.

The subjects will be drawn from the online bank two hours by the school principle and teaching staff prior to the start of the exam.

The website will be updated with new subjects for first and second year high school students by the end of September, in time for the next academic year.
