The main opposition party SYRIZA has planned a political debate for next Thursday at the Titania hotel in Athens, where party leader Alexis Tsipras, union leaders and others will debate the coalition government’s privatization plans for DEI.
According to the invite, SYRIZA’s immediate goal is to disallow the Ministry of Energy’s bill related to DEI’s privatization, which it has dubbed a “crime against the public interest and the national economy”.
While SYRIZA is essentially working towards forming an alliance the Communist Party, it can realistically count on seeing DIMAR and ANTARSYA responding to the call.
