The Greek national football team is already in Belo Horizonte where it will begin its World Cup adventure in the group stage by facing the South American powerhouse Columbia.

After one final training stint at Aracaju, the Greek team headed to the “Beautiful Horizon” for the first match. Coach Fernando Santos appears to have decided most of the starting eleven, with Papastathopoulos and Moras competing for a spot in the defensive line.

The rest of the squad will likely feature Karnezis, Manolas, Torosidis, Cholebas, Katsouranis, Maniatis, Kone, Salpingidis, Samaras and Gekas.
