The aim of the radiothon organized by UNICEF and took place on Thursday evening is to provide water, food and healthcare for all children. To that end, UNICEF raised 90,000 euros from donations.
The annual radiothon was organized in conjunction with public radio and the support of private radio stations across Greece, which participated in the radiothon events and programs, helping spread the message of solidarity and humanity.
Amongst this year’s contributors and participants are the Parliament of Greeks, National Bank of Greece, Alpha Bank, the Super League and a number of schools, whose students donated their piggy banks to the charitable cause.
