The Institute of Geodynamics documented an earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale, at 00:34, southeast of Crete.
According to the report, the earthquake occurred about 113km south southeast of Lasithi and 139km south east of Agios Nikolaos, at a depth of 10km.
An aftershock measuring 3.7 Richter occurred at 01:11 in the same area.
