The Greek Basket League finals begin tonight, with Olympiacos hosting Panathinaikos at the Peace and Friendship stadium in Piraeus at 19:30. The ‘Reds’ will aim to make good use of the home advantage they acquired during the regular season, while the ‘Greens’ will try to make a break.

Olympiacos coach Yannis Sferopoulos will have a full roster, since D.J. Strawberry overcame his injuries. Newly appointed Panathinaikos coat Argyris Pedoulakis however will not have Vladimir Jankovic or Giorgos Papagiannis available due to injuries.

In the 15 times the two teams have faced off in the finals, Panathinaikos has taken the trophy 10 times, while Olympiacos 5. Similarly, in these 15 finals, the team with the home advantage won the championship on 10 occasions.
