With talks between the Greek government and its international creditors about to reach a climax, the satirical French newspaper Charlie Hebdo commented on the negotiations with its provocative front cover.

The front cover, which reads “Save Europe, drown a Greek”, depicts the International Monetary Fund’s general director Christine Lagarde drowning a man in a bucket of water.
