The Geodynamic Institute of Athens announced that two earthquakes took place on Sunday, near Karpenisi and Karpathos, both of which measured 4.1 on the Richter scale.
The first earthquake took place in the maritime region 64km southeast of Karpathos, at about 14:19, without any injuries or damages being reported. The second earthquake took place at about 8pm, 22km southeast of Karpenisi, at an estimated depth of 10km.
