Five New Democracy MPs have threatened to vote against an amendment that is designed to restore the wages of judicial officers after the courts held that the cuts they suffered were illegal and unconstitutional.

The five MPs, Ilias Vlachogiannis, Iordanis Tzamtzis, Theodoros Soldatos, Pavlos Vogiatzis and Dimitris Kyriazidis, have issued a statement praising the government’s intentions and argues that the wages of uniformed officers must also be restored.
