The general secretary of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) Dimitris Koutsoumpas delivered a speech at a party event on special education and commented on the recent developments.
Mr. Koutsoumpas argued the “anti-people policies” were not caused by the debt, nor will they end with any kind of haircut or similar such solution. The KKE leader explained that the deep capitalist crisis is merely completing its cycle, with the people paying the bill.
The Communist leader argued that the Greek debt belongs to the bourgeois state and the monopolies and stressed that the only solution is to unilaterally erase the debt and focus on supporting the working classes.
