The Manpower Employment Organization (OAED) announced the details of four new subsidized employment and training programs, which are going to benefit about 35,500 unemployed.

The first program involved the creation of 12,000 jobs by subsidizing businesses in order to employ people aged 25 to 66. The subsidy comes to 18 euros per day with a 450-euro-maximum per months of each hired unemployed.

The second program, which is addressed to special categories of unemployed people, will provide 1,000 jobs in private sector companies. OAED will subsidize each employee with 600 euros per month.

The third program will provide jobs for about 10,000 unemployed in local businesses. Those under the age of 25 will receive a 15-euro subsidy per day, while those above the age of 25 will receive 18 euros per day.

Finally, OAED has announced a training program for unemployed wishing to development their skills in the financial sector, which will lead to the creation of new jobs. About 12,500 unemployed are going to benefit from the training program.
