The regular season of the 2013-2014 Super League championship ended on Sunday, with Olympiacos FC being crowned champion for the 41st time, while Aris and Apollon face relation to the second division.

The draw for the play offs took place on Monday, with PAOK, Panathinaikos, Atromitos and Asteras competing for a ticket to the Champions League qualifiers. Xanthe, which finished third from last, will compete in play offs with teams from the second divisions for a spot in next year’s championship.

The top scorer of the regular season was Xanthe’s Esteban Solari, who scored 16 goals and surpassed Panathinaikos’ Berg and Veria’s Ben who each scored 15 this year. This is only the third time in the history of Greek football that a player from a team outside of Athens and Thessaloniki was declared top scorer.
