The police announced the arrest of a 22-year-old woman for the recent murder of a 46-year-old man in the center of Corinth.

According to the police report the 22-year-old has admitted to the murder and will face manslaughter and weapons charges. Along with the 22-year-old, the police arrested another 17-year-old woman who appears to have been an accomplice.

In her confession, the 22-year-old claimed that she was with the 17-year-old when she met the victim. At some point after meeting the 22-year-old mortally wounded the 46-year-old man. The knife used in the attack was found near the victim.

After the attack, the two women then ran away and sought refuge from a 42-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man. The two are expected to face charges for harboring a criminal.
