The River has called Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras to not pass his responsibilities on to the Greek people, in relation to the PM’s reference to the possibility of a referendum in a Monday-evening interview.
In its statement, the opposition party notes that “the people will be called to approve the cancellation of the promises that SYRIZA was carelessly handing out left and right” and called him to proceed with an “honourable agreement and give an end to the communication gains, because the country cannot live on only with spectacles”.
According with the River, the Prime Minister must now address his false election campaign pledges and the constant mistakes carried out by his ministers, ever since his party won the elections in January.
