The Prime Minister Yanis Varoufakis argued that if Greece were to leave the Eurozone then the crisis will unavoidably spread, in an interview that was conducted about ten days ago and was broadcast on Spanish television network La Sexta on Sunday.

Mr. Varoufakis openly disputed the belief that the rest of the European countries are prepared to face the problems that will arise, or that the European Central bank is capable of containing the problems.

According to the Greek Finance Minister, should Greece leave the Eurozone, then the speculation will begin as to which will be the next country to leave the monetary union, which in turn will cause interest rates to soar and political tensions to escalate.
