A demonstration is being carried out on Kotzia Square in the city center of Athens on Thursday morning by a number of pensioner groups.
As explained in their statement, the pensioner groups are protesting the latest cuts n pension and social benefits, along with the increase of the tax burden.
In their statement the pensioner groups argue that the supplementary pensions are being turned into “tips”.
