The main motto of the Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras at the upcoming International Fair in Thessaloniki will be ‘equitable growth’.

According to a report in Ta Nea, the Prime Minister will support his plan for equitable growth by highlighting the imminent economic recovery, while presenting a roadmap for the post-bailout era.

During the meetings held on Tuesday, the Prime Minister reportedly argued that it is not enough for the pie to grow, but it must also be shared in a more equitable way. The PM also estimated that the upcoming second bailout review will be ‘easier’ than the first one.

Government sources emphasized that the PM will focus on the government’s growth plan, while calling for greater inter-ministerial cooperation in an effort to attract investments and increase public revenue.

Among the coalition government’s main priorities are to modernize business licensing procedures and combating illicit trade of fuel. At the same time, the Prime Minister will lash out against the opposition for serving organized interests.
