After recently meeting with Sports Minister Stavros Kontonis, the greatest Greek basketball player of all time, Nikos Galis, will meet with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras at 1pm on Tuesday.
The OAKA basketball stadium in Athens will be named after Galis, who is largely credited with popularizing basketball in Greece in the 1980s and inspiring generations of players to take up the sport.
