The Chief of HNDGS Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis made an official visit to Bulgaria on Wednesday, where he met with the Buglarian Chief of Defense Genral Constantin Popov.
According to reported, the two military leaders discussed issues of mutual interest and the further development of military cooperation between Greece and Bulgaria.
After the meeting, Admiral Apostolakis was received by the Deputy Minister of Defence Dimitar Kyumyurdzhiev, with the agenda being focused on managing problems stemming from the refugee crisis and further developing ties within NATO framework.
During his stay in Sofia, the Chief of HNDGS pa id his respects at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and awarded Bulgarian officers who have studied in Greek military schools.
