The Governor of the Bank of Greece Yannis Stournaras has called for the immediate completion of the Greek bailout program review, in order to facilitate the restoration of trust and the return of deposits.
Mr. Stournaras also warned that the estimations regarding a recovery of the Greek economy within the second half of the year entail significant dangers and as such care is required to avoid the “past mistakes that led to an impasse”.
According to Mr. Stournaras «with every hour passing where we fail to complete the review, the climate becomes worse«.
