The Athens Stock Exchange closed with major losses on Thursday, with the general price index retreating by 4.35% and standing at 590.75 points.
Most of the major stock markets in Europe suffered significant losses following the Chinese market plummet.
Transactions were valued at 113.46 million euros and the yield of the ten-year government bond closed at 8.82%.
