The Bux, a 25-meter yacht belonging to businessman Socrates Kokkalis that was docked at the marina of Agios Kosmas, went up in flames after a fire broke out in engine room.
The Fire Brigade, which dispatched 14 firefighters, 5 vehicles and 1 vessel to extinguish the fire, has not yet managed to determine what caused the fire.
Mr. Kokkalis, who established the Intracom group in the 1970s and was owner of Olympiacos from 1993 to 2010, is one of Greece’s more prominent businessmen.
