Political leaders to attend 80th Thessaloniki International Fair

The President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos is scheduled to inaugurate the 80^th Thessaloniki International Fair on Saturday the 5^th of September.

As customary, the political leaders will attend the fair, as part of their election campaigns, where they will give press conferences and announce their campaign programs.

The president of SYRIZA Alexis Tsipras will visit the fair on Sunday, 6^th of September and will deliver a speech at the I. Vellidis conference center, where he will present his party program.

New Democracy’s provisional leader Evangelos Meimarakis will visit the fair on its last weekend (12 and 13 September). He will present his party’s program on Saturday afternoon and give a press conference on Sunday.

The leader of the newly-formed Popular Union Panagiotis Lafazanis has arranged to visit the TIF on Tuesday, the 8^th of September, where he will give a press conference.

The head of the River Stavros Theodorakis will be in Thessaloniki for the International Fair on Friday, the 11^th of September and has announced a press conference.

Golden Dawn MPs Artemis Mattheopoulos and Fotis Grekos will give a press conference on Monday the 7^th of September at 1pm.

The secretary general of the Communist Party Dimitris Koutsoumpas is scheduled to meet with the management of the TIF and organizers Helexpo at 10am on Saturday and will later give a press conference at noon.

The president of the Independent Greeks Panos Kammenos will deliver a speech at a rally at the I. Vellidis conference center at 8pm on Wednesday, the 9^th of September. He will give a press conference at noon the next day, Thursday 10^th of September.

PASOK president Fofi Gennimata will visit the TIF at 4pm on Thursday, 10^th of September and is scheduled to give a speech at a rally at the I. Vellidis conference center at 8pm. She will then give a press conference at 11am on Friday, 11^th of September.

The president of the Union of Centrists Vasilis Leventis will give a speech on Monday 7^th of September at 8:30pm and will give a press conference at the I. Vellidis conference center at 12:30 noon on Wednesday the 9^th of September.

Finally, representatives from the Ecologists/Greens party will attend the International Fair on Monday 7^th of September and will give press conference at 11am.
