Today is the last day of teaching for the 2013/2014 school year, with students across Greece gearing up for the Panhellenic exams, which are scheduled to begin next week.

The exams for most high school students will begin on Wednesday the 28th of May, whiles students of vocational high schools will start a day later. The exams are expected to be over by the 12th of June. The first subject for all students is Modern Greek.

Re-sits are scheduled to begin on Thursday the 19th of June, while specialist subjects, such as sport, will be examined between the 23rd of June and 4th of July. In mid-June students will be able to request a password in order to submit their higher education choices online.
