The chairman of PAOK Ivan Savvidis offered to buy any television station that failed to secure a license in the recent tender and promised that no employees will be dismissed, during an interview on ERT.

During the interview Mr. Savvidis specifically referred to Alpha TV, owned by Dimitris Kontominas, which did not win a license in the recent tender. Mr. Savvidis explained that he is serious about investing in the Greek media, as evident by his 61.7-million-euro offer in the recent tender.

Furthermore, Mr. Savvidis noted that he will also attempt to collaborate with the new television station owners, while stressing that no jobs must be lost.
