The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin is scheduled to arrive at the Athens International Airport tat 15:30, where he will be welcomed by the Minister of National Defense Panos Kammenos.

Afterwards the Russian President will be received by President Prokopis Pavlopoulos, for about half an hour, before meeting with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras at 17:00 for extended talks between the two delegations.

A business lunch is scheduled for 18:30 at Maximos Mansion, followed by the signing of bilateral agreements on energy, tourism and investments. Official statements will be made by both President Putin and PM Tsipras. In the evening, at 19:25, the Russian President will visit the Byzantine Museum, accompanied by the Greek Prime Minister.

On Saturday the Russian President will travel to Thessaloniki and from then on to Mount Athos, where he will visit the St. Panteleimon Monastery. Mr. Putin will stay for about five hours in the Holy Community, before leaving Greece.
