The Refugee Crisis Management Coordination Body announced its latest divs on Thursday, according to which there are 54,124 migrants and refugees in Greece.

In greater detail, there are 8,521 migrants and refugees on the Greek islands in the Eastern Aegean, with 29 arriving in the past 24 hours.

The vast majority of migrants and refugees – a total of 28,699 – are in northern sections of Greece. There 8,199 at the makeshift refugee camp at the border town of Idomeni, where an evacuation operation is under way.

In Attica there are reportedly 14,490 migrants and refugees, with 2,896 being accommodated at the camp that has been set up at Skaramangas. In central Greece there are 2,090, while in the south of Greece only 324.
