The Athens Stock Exchange closed with major losses on Wednesday morning, with the general price index dropping by 2.51% and standing at 584.55 points. Transactions were valued at 71.58 million euros, while the yield of the ten-year bond closed at 8.99%.
While the stock market had begun to bounce back and managed to close above 600 points last week, the progress has been turned around as a result of the postponement of Thursday’s Eurogroup.
