After many adventures, the current political and economic cycle appears clear and ridden of the many oppressive uncertainties and disputes of the recent past.

The new government enjoys popular support, is tolerated by the people, almost gets a free pass from the main opposition that is being torn apart and now has the opportunity to act quickly and efficiently, without many obstacles to face.

This time the mandate is clear, the course has been approved and clearly determined, there are rich experiences capable of averting major errors. In general, the path is clear and there is nothing to hold the government back.

The Prime Minister and his minister are well aware that there is no time to waste and that they are obliged to do everything possible to stabilize the economy and create the conditions for the much desired recovery by next summer.

Additionally, beyond the agreed upon path to consolidate public finances, it has been scientifically and empirically proven from where the much-desired growth in Greece come. In the five-year crisis, aside from the rebirth of primary production, the sectors that suffered the least were tourism, transports and energy.

Just like Niko Christodoulakis says, it turned out that under any conditions, with the euro or drachma, with capital controls or not, tourists came and will continue to come to Greece en masse; the transportation of goods from Asia to Europe will go through Greek docks and roads because they are the quickest and safest routes and finally the energy networks inevitably go through Greece.

Especially in tourism, all expectations are being exceeded. Experts speak of tens of millions of tourist arrivals in Athens over the next few years and about 40 million tourists per year after 2020!

As for the transportation of goods, experts predict that after the widening of the Suez Canal and the return of Iran to the international financial community, trade in Greek harbors will multiply. Furthermore, the emergence of new energy sources will make Greece one of the major hubs of transit gas pipelines.

To cut a long story short, beyond financial stability, the future in Greece will be determined by growth in tourist zones, airports, harbors and energy pipelines.

All that is necessary is for Mr. Tsipras to realize the importance of the aforementioned sectors and mobilize the best and healthiest forces towards this direction. With outsiders and uneducated people nothing will get done and this place will not prosper…
