A powerful earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale took place at 3.54am on Monday morning, at about 32 kilometers north of Igoumenitsa, according to the Geodynamic Institute of Athens.
The earthquake, which was felt across Epirus, occurred at a depth of about 10 kilometers. No injuries or damages in the area have been reported.
