The Geodynamic Institute of Athens reported that a 4.7 magnitude earthquake occurred at 14:49 today, about 19 kilometers west of Argostoli and at a depth of 20 kilometers.
In its report, the European Mediterranean Seismological Institute stated that the Earthquake measured 4.8 on the Richter scale and had occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
