The Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Kotzias will travel for Tirana on Monday, where he will meet with his Albanian counterpart Ditmir Bushati. The Greek Minister will later be received by the President of Albania Bujar Nishani and Archbishop Anastasios of Tirana, Durrës and All Albania.

On Tuesday Mr. Kotzias will be a central speaker at an event organized by the University of Tirana, which will be focused on Greek-Albanian relation within the framework of Albania’s European prospects. Later on Mr. Kotzias will meet with the leader of the main opposition Lulzim Basha and delegates from the Greek minority in Albania.

This will be the second official visit to Tirana within a year for the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs, which reflects the Greek government’s desire to further develop bilateral ties.
