The German Minister of Finances Wolfgang Schäuble told Reuters that the countries receiving funding from the European Stability Mechanism must be under the supervision of a troika.
According to Reuters, the Minister reported that the Eurozone members must continue with their reforms in order to achieve economic recovery and appeared confident about the progress in France and Ital.
Mr. Schäuble insisted that the IMF, EU and ECB troika is the most effective monitoring tool for the support programs in the Eurozone. The German minister argued that ESM support may be provided in exchange for strict troika monitoring.
