The Supreme Court has green-lit the participation of the Golden Dawn and its “back-up” National Dawn parties in the upcoming European elections.
According to Sunday evening’s Supreme Court ruling, the objections regarding the participation of the neo-Nazi party were overruled as the party has not been declared as a criminal organization in a court of law.
Additionally, the Court found the articles of association submitted by the neo-Nazi party to pass relevant legal tests. In total, the Supreme Court approved the participation of 43 parties.
