About 700 refugees left the port of Piraeus on Monday for the hospitality center that has been set up at Skaramangas, with more expected to be tranfered on Tuesday.

The Coast Guard has focused its efforts on clearing out the E2 passenger terminal, where there are about 1,350 migrants and refugees. There are also about 2,150 camped at the E1 terminals and a further 1,000 camped by the stone storehouse.

It appears that Greek authorities have prioritized the moving of Yazidis, followed by Syrians and Afghans. Although hundreds are leaving the port, unable to endure the living conditions, many more continue to arrive.
