An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale occurred at about 9.41 on Friday morning in Kefalonia, according to a report by the Geodynamic Institute of the Athens Observatory.
Another weaker earthquake, measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale, was documented a few minutes later, at about 9.53. There have not been any damages reported.
The first earthquake’s epicenter was reportedly located about 4 kilometers northeast of Argostoli, with the second one located west northwest of Argostoli.
