The Prime Minister Antonis Samaras met with the newly-appointed Minister of Health Makis Voridis (pictured) and his deputies Leonidas Grigorakos and Katerina Papakosta at his office on Friday morning.

The meeting concluded shortly after noon and according to information made available to To Vima, Mr. Samaras appointed specific areas of focus to each Minister.

Minister Voridis will be in charge of medicine and the troubled EOPYY, Mr. Grigorakos will focus on hospitals and mental heal, while Mrs. Papakosta will handle matters related to the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (KEELPNO) and the Organization Against Drugs (OKANA)
