The influenza death toll rose attributed to the latest outbreak of influenza rose to 53 yesterday, with 21 reported casualties in this week alone. Five patients were transferred to Intensive Care Units, for a total of 57 in critical condition.
The Center for Disease Prevention and Control (KEELPNO) has warned high risk individuals (elderly, obese, chronically ill etc) to get inoculated and seek out anti-viral treatment as soon as the first symptoms of the flu become apparent.
