Two earthquakes that were based in Amfiklia took place yesterday afternoon at around 17:42, which measured 4.5 and 4.8 on the Richter scale. Both earthquakes were felt in Athens. Another earthquake that measured 4.4 occurred on Tuesday morning at around 8.46am.
The Seismological Center of the AUTH and the Geodynamic Institute of Athens reported that there was nothing to worry, as the earthquakes were aftershocks of a 5.4 earthquake that occurred in early August in the same area.
