According to the latest estimate publicized by the coordinating body on the refugee crisis, there are 53,717 refugees in Greece at present. In the past 24 hours a total of 20 refugees arrived in Greece.

At present there are 7,773 refugees on the Aegean islands, 14,393 in Attica, 1,920 in central areas of Greece and 338 in southern sections of the country.

The vast majority of refugees, a total of 29,292, are currently in the north of Greece; 10,172 at the makeshift camp in Idomeni and a further 1,137 at the gas station at Polykastro.
