The Government Council for Economic and Social Policy will convene at 15:00 on Wednesday in order to discuss ways to support the welfare state.
Wednesday’s meeting comes ahead of Friday’s parliamentary discussion on the coalition government’s ambitious “parallel program”, which was eventually withdrawn following objections from Greece’s creditors.
