The Center for Disease Prevention and Control (KEELPNO) announced that the seasonal outbreak of the flu continues and that another four people succumbed to the virus on Thursday, raising the death toll to 94.
Additionally, KEELPNO revealed that a total of 56 patients are still being hospitalized in intensive care units, due to complications with the flu virus.
Since the start of the seasonal outbreak, a total of 260 confirmed flu patients have been hospitalized in ICUs. The KEELPNO recommends that people in high risk categories (elderly, obese, etc) seek out anti-viral treatment at the first sign of symptoms.
