The National Theater is experiencing major financial problems, which are likely to affect the three productions that were initially scheduled to be performed at Epidavros, as well as next season’s program.
According to a report in Ta Nea, the National Theater only has about 90,000 euros at its disposal, however the summer productions and co-productions for next year require about 1.3 million euros. As such, it is uncertain whether the performances will go ahead as planned.
