The Racist Violence Recording Network has published its report on racist violence and hate crimes for 2015, according to which there was a rise in attacks, particularly against members of the LGBTQI community and refugees.

Attacks documented by the RVRN include everything from verbal assault to serious incidents such as physical assault and shootings. In the 273 documented violent incidents, 185 were carried out against members of the LGBTQI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, queer or questioning and intersex) community, with an escalation during the vote in Parliament for civil partnerships.

The report documented 75 attacks against migrants and refugees, as well as five attacks against people actively defending human rights and supporting migrants and refugees.
