It’s not the name that matters but the content of the agreement that will help the Greek economy, government spokesman Gabriel Sakellaridis said on SKAI when asked to comment on information that the compromising solution to be discussed in the upcoming Εurogroup will be based on the current program, which will be possibly renamed to a bridging program to last until the end of August in order to repay the government bonds and keep Greece in accordance with the agreement with its partners.

According to the government spokesman, “the bridging agreement is a transitional arrangement to gain time for an agreement with our partners on a final solution. We have the plan and we do not need to write it for four months. We need to discuss it.”

Only Merkel calls for a prior evaluation. We met with Hollande and Renzi, and the Socialist Group in the European Parliament” he added.

On the issue of the privatization of Piraeus Port Authority (OLP) and Thessaloniki Port Authority (OLTH) and the difference of opinions within the government he replied that this is an issue to be decided by the Prime Minister along with Mr Varoufakis and Mr Dritsas.
